Hi Anyone know the exact permissions a user must have to
logon to a TS in a win2k domain ?
If I add the users to the admin group they can logon but
if they are not in the admins group they can't logon even
if they have the terminal server checkbox checked in the
AD user and computer manager for that user.
So I am guessing there must be something else that they
user must have to be able to logon to a Terminal server.
Any clues ?

Best regards

Is the box a domain controller?

If so this happend to me in a demo build once. You have to
modify the Domain controller security policy and add users
to the "log on locally" policy.

Is this a Windows 2000 Server? If so, it sounds like it
is configured for Remote Administration only. If you want
regular users to be able to logon, you have to configure
it in Application Mode. You can setup permissions on the
RDP connection itself and make regular users be able to
logon, but you will be restricted to 2 concurrent
connections.
