Shirley

We have a number of forms which external clients access
on our intranet. They have a generic user and password
to view our intranet. The forms don't work unless the
this generic user is given administrator privileges.
This doesn't seem right to me. Could someone confirm
this and perhaps point me in the right direction. I am
not the webmaster so not experienced in this side of
things but I am concerned about security. We are using
FPage extensions 2002 and IIS 5 - Thanks

Hi Shirley,

Thank you for the posting. As you indicated, forms don't work unless this
generic user is given administrator privileges.

Baed on your description, this issue is probably related to the user
permission or log on authentication to the data base server, for example,
if you are using SQL server. You can check the user permission or log on
authentication to the data base server.

Hope the above information and suggestion helps and answers your question.
If anything is unclear, please let me know.

Sincerely,

Cherry Qian
