Permanently link just a single column between multiple sheets?

Hi. Can anyone help? How can I permanently link column A (a list of names)
in multiple sheets, so that if I edit (ie to insert a name) this is reflected
in all sheets? I can link them as a one off by holding down cntrl and
clicking each sheet in turn, but this isn't permanent. I need to set it up
for every time I edit.

Select all the sheets except the sheet where you want to make the changes.
Select column in in the selected sheets and type '='. Then go to the sheet
where you actually want to make the edits and highlight column A. Press
control + shift + enter to enter a permanent array formula covering the range
in question. Finally deselect all the sheets. Any changes made on the
editing sheet will now be reflected in all the other sheets.

If you don't want the whole column then select the relevant range but always
make sure that the ranges match in size.
