Permanent Mapping

Simple question, how to map a network share permanently. i.e. the mapping is
available before user login. This is a W2K Server.

I need a drive letter pointing to a remote storage for backup purpose.

Why don't you use UNC path e.g. \\servername\foldername ? Mapped drive is
user oriented.
