permament file store

Is it possible to get (enumerate?) the permanent file
store directories in the file system? "\iPAQ File Store"
on a ipaq, and "\CF Card" on all pocketpcs with
compact flash card.

I want to store my application (uninstalled) in this area,
and don't want to require any flash-card of any kind.

Does all pocketpcs has a writable directory which
doesn't get erased when doing a cold-boot?
 
No, not all devices have persistent storage that will survive a total loss
of battery power.
