periodically change slide during slide show

hello all,

during a slide show, is it possible to make the slides automatically change
every x second with adding an animation to each slide to switch to the next
slide?

Certainly can! Open your presentation, click the "Slide Sorter" view
button, select the desired slide, click the "Transition" icon on the Slide
Sorter toolbar, click the "Automatically after" and set the number of
seconds. You can also uncheck the "On mouse click" option if you want.
 
Fab,
Press CTRL+A to select all of the slides and then apply your transition
time.
In PPT 2002, 2003 you can also activate the task pane slide transition
choose an appropriate timing and hit apply to all.
Does that do it for you?

select the Transition icon, and make your changes
