I type: 3 mos. the info
And it forces: 3 mos. The info
Where The is capitalized. How do I get The to not
automatically be capitalized after I type
mos.
It recognized the . as the end of sentence, but I am not
at the end of the sentence.

You,

Tools>AutoCorrect. On the AutoCorrect tab choose
exceptions and then using the File Letter tab add mos. to
the do not capitalize after listing.

There are two ways to correct this

Go to: Tools/Autocorrect/ and go to the Autocorrect ta

You'll see a checked box labeled "Capitalize first letter of sentences". By unchecking this, it will not capitalize the first letter of any word following a period.

If you want to only stop it from capitalizing a word following "mos." Click the "Exceptions" button, type in mos. Click Add. Now it will not capitalize any word following mos

Hope you can understand these directions!

In addition to the suggestions already offered, you can
prevent the capitalization and a case-by-case basis by
entering CTRL-Z (undo) when the "t" changes to "T".
