Performence on compressed drive vs not compressed

Does anyone know if the performence will be affected in
any way if i use the "Compress drive to save disk space"
function?

Performace is a difficult thing to predict as there is a lot that
impacts it from system to system. Using NTFS compression does impact
performance but can in fact speed performace with a slow hard drive and
a fast processor. On an average system it will cause a small negative
impact on the system. The faster the processor the less the impact.
