Hi,

I've got a DOS application running on several win2000 machines. They all
work fine exept on 1 machine. It works as long as i keep it in a window. As
soon as i run it full screen the performance degrades drasticaly. e.g.
keystrokes take a second each.

an idea anyone?

Hi Henry ,

I think following steps to narrow down this issue.

1. Create a new user with Administrators privilege to test.

2. Perform a clean boot. I know it is a Windows 2000 machine without
msconfig.exe, you can copy it from a Windows XP machine and do following
steps:

1) Click Start, click Run, type "msconfig" (without the quotation marks) in
the Open box, and then click OK.
2) In the Startup tab, click the "Disable All" button.
3) In the Services tab, check the "Hide All Microsoft Services" checkbox,
and then click the "Disable All" button.
4) Click OK and restart your computer.
