Hi,

May I know is there anyway I can monitor the amount of memory a process
(DLLHost, Inetinfo etc) taken using Performance Monitor or any aother
free-ware?

Thank you.

Best Regards,

WY

Hi,

The thing is that I want to have a log of the amount of memory used at a
fixed interval. Sorry if I did not make myself clear.

PerfMon/Sysmon can log.

There are various utilities (included) within the Support Tools
(server CD-ROM) such as "memsnap" and "poolmon"
and you might find more in the Reskit or at SysInternals.

PerMon/Sysmon can yes - but is a pain in the neck.

If you want to spend a few pennies have a look at PAWZ from a firm called
perfcap. The used to be a part of Compaq and were spun off a year or so ago.

It can store all perfmon counter from a bunch of machines (unix and vms too)
in a SQL database with a pretty front end that allows quick and easy
graphing without messing on with huge perfmon log files - and I know that
perfmon can store data in an ODBC data source, but it is too slow...
