Hi there,
I've just setup some performance counters to check but
having some problems creating a log file. I've setup the
counters and parametres for capturing but I need to
schedule this to run every 2 hours for 600 seconds.

But when I go to the properties and select to capture data
from a log file rather than current stats, I cannot
schedule the log file capturing because I don't know how
to create a log file. I've tried creating .tsv, .csv
and .log and none seem to be accepted.

Can anyone help?

Cheers in advance.
Fred

The perf monitor should create the log file for you, you don't need to provide an extension.

Fred,

Assuming you are on Windows 2000 take a look at the following article to see if it helps.
