Can I use performance memory with aggressive timings in a A8N-VM CSM mobo?
My expereince has been voltage plays a role, but, this mobo does not seem to
offer memory voltage adjustments. I'm looking at running Corsair XMS memory
at 2-2-2-6-1T. Is this possible with this board? I have had the board for
three weeks now and cannot seem to get a definiotive answer to what type of
memory I can use (other than value memory). Thanks in advance.

Why don't you ask the Ram Guy in the Corsair forum?
Nothing like getting your information direct from the horses mouth, so to
speak.

Well, I did ask Corsair, and the response was:
"Safe answer: NO. XMS memory are tested @ 2.75 volts, and since you can't
change your voltage, you're probably stuck @ 2.5 volts."

But - where does it say the A8N-VM CSM supplies 2.5V to the memory slots? I
thought the standard for most new boards now-a-days was 2.6v?

Good point. I couldn't find that voltage spec anywhere in the manual. This
board may be too new for this info to be widely known, but I expect we'll
find out if our RAM works at bootup ;>)

PC3200, which is a 2.6v part. Don't have the mobo yet (in transit), but when
I do I'll post my results with it all here. Very much looking forward to
seeing what this board can do.
