Hello,

When I start my PC running XP the performance is slow.
Based on Bootvis I discovered the following:
a.. The overall boot time takes 116.3 seconds
b.. The logon + service takes 35 seconds
c.. The process naifltr.sys takes quite some time
d.. Regular network delays.. always 6 sec.
Please advise
Peter

Without a whole lot more detail it's hit or miss as to what your problem is.
Odds are it's related to McAfee AV, but it could be PerfectDisk or even MS.
Although with the latter two it's an issue on Win2K rather than WinXP.

Check the properties of the file to see who owns it.
