I have a split data base that performed very well in 2003 that was converted
to 2007. I have applied SP2 Office 2007 to address known performance issues
with 2007. While upating fields through a form we receive the message
"Updating Table - Hold Escape Key to Conitinue".

The users PC have been configured for RAD, could this be a conributing factor?

Any ideas are welcome!

Check out following list:

In addition to the above:

Try a accDE in place of a accDB

For "all" testing ensure that your startup code creates a persistent
connection.

Ensure that your default printer is not a network printer (or a you are
defaulted to
some printer that does not exist).

I not seen any "change" in network performance when using 2007 over that of
previous versions, so check the above issues..
