perfecting image, please wait message

Videos in my power point presentation play fine on the lap top screen but i
get a message saying " perfecting image, please wait" from th eprojected
image. the videos will play outside powerpoint in window media player. i
would prefer to simply click on the videos in the presenation tahn to exit pp
and start wmp. Any help is appreciated. Thanks Greg
 
Are your laptop and your projector set to the same screen resolution?
(Usually 1024 x 768 is a safe bet.)
