Perf Monitor problem

When i use the performance monitor and add some objects i receive constantly
the folowin errosrs in the event log Application.

Event Type: Error
Event Source: rasctrs
Event Category: None
Event ID: 2001
Date: 07-10-2005
Time: 12:37:07
User: N/A
Computer: ASTERIX
Description:
The description for Event ID ( 2001 ) in Source ( rasctrs ) cannot be found.
The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message
DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. The following
information is part of the event: The event log file is corrupt..

Event Category: None
Event ID: 1008
Date: 07-10-2005
Time: 12:37:05
User: N/A
Computer: ASTERIX
Description:
The Open Procedure for service "RemoteAccess" in DLL
"C:\WINNT\System32\rasctrs.dll" failed. Performance data for this service
will not be available. Status code returned is data DWORD 0.
Data:
0000: eb 03 00 00 ...


How can i fix this?
 
From a command prompt;

winmgmt /clearadap
winmgmt /resyncperf

may help.
