I have the below table where Weightage is nuber of bookings a person can
action in one hour. '17' is the total that has been actioned in 8 hours.

I need to insert a formula where it shows what percentage of 8 hours has
been has been utilised to action booking of each country so that the total
percentage will be 100%

Bookings Weightage Percentage
4 7.8125
2 5
0 13.75
0 13.75
9 20
2 5
0 18
0 37.5
0 7.8125
17

As always, showing an example will help you get a solution much quicker.

What answer do you expect with the sample data you have given?

You say 'percentage of 8 hours' but you don't show where the hours are. If
there is supposed to be one row per hour, there are 9 rows in your sample.
Also, how can there be weightage with no bookings?

As a general guide, percentage of total is always amount divided by total,
formatted as a percent. If you want what percent 4 is of the total of 17,
it's 4/17 -- format as a percent to the number of decimals you prefer. The
formula would be something like =a2/a$10.

Fred.

You're not making it easy to provide help. You'll have to identify how you
did the calculations, because I can't get those numbers from your data. You
also need to specify what you want done about the fact the percentages don't
add up to 100%.

Fred
