People with P4's w/ HT and XP

I am trying to figure something out here and would like to know from people
that already have a P4 with HT on XP if they have something different from
me.

I have a P4 3GHz 800FSB w/HT CPU.

On XP when I go to task manager, then choose the performance tab I only see
one CPU Usage History window. When I click on a process there is no set
affinity tab. HT *is* enabled in this boxes BIOS. In device manager under
Processors in device manager it lists two CPU's and under computer it lists
ACPI PC.

I'm trying to track this down to see if I need to reinstall this XP OS with
SP1 already in it (to deal with HT) or what.

If any of you folks running XP with a P4 w/HT could tell me what you see on
your boxes I would be greatly appreciative!

When I have HT enabled I see 2CPUs in Device manager and 2 graphs in the
Performance window. Single of each with HT off. Also, with HT enabled, on
the splash screen, the P4 logo has "HT" in the corner.

If you have "One graph per CPU" set under the View menu you should see
two.

Set Affinity should appear in the context menu.

It should say "ACPI Multiprocessor PC".

Looks like a repair install is in order.
