pentium II upgrade

can a pentium II 450MHz, 20 Gig HD host windows 2000 and
the Service Pack 4 upgrades? Win 2K seems to load OK, but
the SP4 crashes the HD and I get boot errors.

well there is nothing wrong with a P-II per se
but evidently there is some hardware issue that sp4
doesn't like

you may have to do a repair installation
 
Yes, a Pentium II running at 450 MHz will certainly handle Windows 2000 with
Service Pack 4. What is the specific error message or behavior you receive
when you try to install the Service Pack? Are you stopping your anti-virus
software when you apply it?
