I am running a peer to peer network and recently installed
a new computer running XP. The previous computer was
running Win98 and we had no trouble accessing the Win98
computer from other computers. Now with XP, we cannot
access the applications 80 of the time. The Win98
computers get a not responding and then typically lock
up. If they reboot, they may get into the XP, but it is
typically not the case. Do I have to go back to Win98 to
get this to work. I have many frustrasted users.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

"many" frustrated users? XP Pro supports only 10 peer to peer connections,
and much above this amount of users is a good break-point to look at a more
sophisticated network imho.
