Hi,
I am using MS Access XP version. I used to use MS Access that came with
Windows 95 and was pretty good with it. That was seven years ago and the
memories have faded.
I need to create a query that will print a pedigree chart. I can create a
query using feilds Name, Sire and Dam but I dont know how to create a query
so each time the Sire or Dam field is referring to the sire/dam previous.
Like I select a cat "cleo" and it comes up with her Sire-Armigo and
Dam-McEvil but I then want the report to show the Sire and Dam to Armigo and
Sire and Dam to McEvil etc. I do hope someone will be king enough to help
me out and give me some instructions on how to do it!
I know its easier to go get a pre-defined program. I have one, but for the
particular database thats required I have to use Access as its going to be
huge and also has to be MS Access as I also need to enter show details and
results for some cats on a seperate related database.
thanks in advance
Julie
