peachw.exe generates errors

I'm trying to access my Peachtree Accounting companies. I
am getting the following message: "peachw.exehas generated
errors and will be closed by windows. You will need to
restart the program. An error log is being created." I can
access the companies through another computer on the
network. Any suggestions, would be greatly appreciated. I
have uninstalled Cleansweep as recommended by one
technical document I found, but it did not help.

You may need to get a copy of the watson log to the application developer or
reinstall the application.
 
I am having the same issue with Simply accounting, I have
un installed the program and then re installed but the
same error msg occurs. I have tried a windows repair,
running in safe mode, changing the video card and doing a
scan disk all attemps have failed and I still have the
error winsim.exe has generated errors and will now
close....

This is the Simply accounting main station and all other
workstations are able to log on and complete transaction
just not on the one machine.

And MAKE SURE you're logged in with Administrator
privileges before you re-install.

See your IT person.
