Some time ago, I uploaded a cheap digital camera to my computer. Before I did this, I could open adobe reader through email attachments simply by couble clicking the name of the attachment. Since the uploading of the camera, which has since been deleted from my computer, adobe reader must be saved, sent to desktop, and opened with>adobe reader. The document tries to open in mgi photo suite. An error message says"this is not a valid image file. The image could not be read. How can I over ride what the camera did to what? a software driver, or what? Can anyone help me?

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling Adobe
Acrobat Reader? Also, have you right-clicked on the
downloaded .pdf file and reviewed its properties? Under
the "General" tab you'll see "Opens with: [program
name]". Use the change button to set all .pdf files to
open with Acrobat Reader. Hope this helps. -Rick
