No freeware for this AFAIK. The only program which does both is BCL Drake, a
plug-in for the full version of Adobe Acrobat. W/ just the full (recent)
version of Adobe Acrobat one can save the entire file as a (line-by-line) .rtf
and individually extract the graphics though.

Marcel Weiher's TextLightning.app (shareware for Mac OS X) will convert the
text and preserve the formatting though.

This not even a free download. Not Freeware!

The original request made no mention of freeware.

While I understand that most people here seek freeware, if there is
nothing out there in freebieland, they just might be prepared to cough
up a few dollars.

After all, even software writers have to feed their families.

You can get this freeware PDT to HTML converter, then use Word (I'm assuming
you have it) to convert from HTML to DOC.

I dl'd many months ago, but never used it so can't give you a review or
critique. Also the dl is BIG at 13 megs, but may not be an issue with you.

Have a look at Pdf995Suite at: http://www.pdf995.com/suite.html .

"The Pdf995Suite is a combination of three of our products (Pdf995,
PdfEdit995 and Signature995 ) providing an integrated solution for your
document publishing needs. The Pdf995Suite is available as individual
downloads so you can choose the level of functionality you desire."

"The Pdf995 Suite offers the following features, all at no cost:
Convert PDF to HTML and Word DOC conversion"

Freeware warning:
"All three products are available as FREE downloads. The free versions
display a sponsor page in your web browser each time you run the software.
If you would prefer not to see sponsor pages, you may upgrade by obtaining
individual keys for each product at any time for $9.95 each. A suite key
sold for all three products is also available for $19.95."

Would this be considered adware?
