PDF to BMP or JPG conversion?

I have been looking for software that can convert PDF files to
something that everybody has on their machine.
Reason is that someone's ISP rejected PDF attachments that I sent to
him.
PDF files are scanned magazine page copies with text and electronic
circuit diagrams.

Try zipping up the PDFs then sending them.

Just rename the file ... append a bogus suffix, and tell the recipient to
remove the suffix.

That is, change "MYFILE.pdf" to "MYFILE.pdf.xyz". Then send the file.

I had the same problem with .exe files ... but that was Outlook XP
complaining, not my ISP :)

In addition to the already mentioned suggestions, you can use ghostview
(requires ghostscript) to export to a number of different formats.

Re-name the files as .txt files and "someone" can re-name them when
received.

PDF explorer does this. http://rtt.planetaclix.pt/home.htm

Then it is easier to simply rename the file to change the extension as others
have hinted.
Do make sure to choose some really innocuous temporary extension, like ".txt",
to avoid further trouble.
