I downloaded pdftotext and pdftohtml, and both of them can obtain a good representation of tables I have un my pdf documents; but they are saved in text format, or in kind of an html format, which can't be properly processed both by Word and Excel.
As the table structure is actually visible, maybe anybody in the years have written some kind of converter tool to REAL word/excel/html tables for pdftotext ouput?!?
