PDF Prompt

Is there any way to set up a prompt in Explorer to ask you if you wish to
download a pdf file?
Many web pages do not identify links that are pdfs so my blistering :)
surfing speed comes to an abrupt halt as Adobe Reader loads.

Yes, in Windows Explorer, Tools, Folder Options, File Types, PDF, Advanced,
check [x] Confirm open after download.

Thanks very much, but for the life of me, I cannot follow the directions I
am running Explorer 6. I went to Tools on the menu bar and I cannot find
Folder Options in the "drop down". I went to Internet Options and no luck
there either. Sorry for the inconvenience but could you please help me find
it?

Hi again I found it in the control panel and did as you suggested but there
was no noticeable difference. I am trying to set a prompt before adobe
reader loads so I have the option of pre-emption not confirmation after
download which I did not see any way. Any othe thoughts?
