Hello,

I have to add a PDF of an AutoCAD drawing onto the webpage
that I maintain. Is there anyway that I can make it so
that the file can't be saved or printed when people view
it? I'm sort of thinking about sometimes when you try and
save a photo and a "this image is copyrighted" window
appears and then you can't save it.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

Tim

Nothing that you can do via HTML, however if you have the full Adobe Acrobat
application, you can limit what people can do with the PDF file.

Thanks. I know this isn't an Adobe group, but frankly
there help isn't great! Do you happen to know how to
disable people from being able to save? I can limit them
from "save" but not from "save as". So all they have to
do is save as something else and then all the permissions
go away.

You can't stop a user from saving the PDF since it has already been
downloaded to their PC. However the permission inside the PDF should remain,
if not then you need to contact Adobe Tech Support.
