pdf.ocx error

I use IE6 and when I download a pdf file acrobat 6 opens
and I can read the information and save the file to hard
disk ok then I get error message IE has caused an error in
PDF.OCX IE will now close. My Browser then restarts and
usually after a few minutes I "hang" and have to reboot.
Any Ideas please. This is driving me "nuts"
