I installed Adobe reader 7.0.5 and these links will not bring up the reader
and the
pdf file.
<p><a href="pdffiles/LagerBeerQuestRegistrationForm.pdf">Lager Beer
Quest Registration Form</a></p>
<p><a href="pdffiles/LagerBQSchedule.pdf">Lager BQ Schedule</a></p>
I installed it a couple of times. I installed correctly everytime.
Thanks in advance.

Can you give us the links to the files (the full URL's).
We can't test them to see if it is a wider problem or just you having
trouble.

The PDFs are under Lazlos Beer Quest tab. The docs are under NewsLetters tab.
When I installed Adobe 7.0.5 it place a new tab bar on IE. I have since
removed it.
The tab had Ad blocking which prevent me from accessing this board.

Both PDFs open just fine for me.

Turns out the only hyperlink I can open on the local host or on the published
web site are html's I can't open .pdfs .docs. .wmvs. I can open these file
types if I go directly to the file and double clink them. I'm truely baffled.
I don't get any type of error. It just returns done.

Perhaps it is settings in your browser. Don't know, since they work for me.

It has to be the installation of Adobe 7.0.5. I went to their site and the
hot news is pdf files won't display in the browser. I have spent about eight
hours going through the process of unistalling, reinstalling, repairing,
changine IE settings and so forth.
No luck. I wonder why it affected my ablility to hyperlink to anything
except htmls?

Try uninstalling all previous versions of Adobe, then reboot.

Just a thought and I am sure that you might have tried this BUT

In Adobe Acrobat 7.0.5 Go to Edit>Preferences (new window)
Under Categories (on Left) highlight "Internet" Check the box (on the right)
"Display PDF in Browser"
