I just loaded software on my new computer. I am running office 2003 professional w/XP and 5.0 full acrobat. I am missing my acrobat icons. I had this problem with 2002 but was able to get them by going to addins under tools. However I can't remember how I did that can anyone help!
 
I have done that but pdf maker is not available. do think I need to reload acrobat?

Search Acrobat for directions about manually installing the PDF Maker
add-in, that should be possible without going to the full trouble of
reinstalling.

The problem here is that Acrobat 5 predates Office 2003 and its install
routine doesn't recognise Office's new folder structure.
You need to locate and move the pdfmaker.dot addin to the correct folder
which will be:

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\OFFICE11\STARTUP

You will also need the last upgrade to Acrobat 5 to work with this version
of Word.

Go to Edit > Toolbars > check PDF Maker or that which relates to Acrobat
5.0)

For the Drop down menu go to Tools > Customize > (under the Toolbars (tab)
scroll down and check PDF Maker or that which relates to Acrobat 5.0).
