Please help, I am unable to open pdf files when online a
red cross apears in the corner of the screen but unable to
open this. I have acrobat installed and am trying to get
data from University online databases. please please help.
 
What version of Adobe Acrobat Reader do you have installed?
When you installed it did you set the default file
associations?

You might want to go to www.adobe.com and download and
install the latest version.

Try to install Acrobat 6.0. I had the same problem and
when I installed v6.0 it worked
 
Acrobat exists in two versions. The full Acrobat also allow you to create
PDF files and the free Reader only allows you to read PDF files. Make sure
that the reading part of Acrobat is correctly set up.
