Anyone,
I cannot view PDF pages on the Web. I get an Http 404 error message, "page
cannot be displayed" OR The page is blank without text. I have tried using
other browsers but the same thing happens. I have correct settings on
ActiveX and Adobe. I have Adobe Acrobat Reader 5.0 and Adobe Reader 7.0. Can
anyone walk me through the problem. I am a beginner with some computer
knowledge, the language must be simple, pls. Thx

Hi pj, you could consult "help" in your system: just start and then
click HELP (blue), key in "http 404" and review the articles displayed.

Suggestions:
- Right click links for .PDF files and select "Save target as..." Save the
file to your hard drive. To read the saved file, either double click the
file or launch Adobe Reader and use File> Open.

-Give Foxit Reader a try. A free replacement for Adobe Reader. I've been
using this free tool for a while. It offers less overhead and less problems
than Adobe's reader: http://www.foxitsoftware.com/pdf/rd_intro.php

You need to check and see if your browser has the acrobat plugins installed.
