I would like to imbed a .pdf file into my access database
so that when the user clicks the field, the .pdf file
pops up and lets them read it. Any help would be greatly
appreciated. Thanks, LJC

The easiest way to do this would be by using a hypertext field containing
the path and file name. When a user clicks the field the file extension
determines the program that launches to read the file.

I'm jumping in to this discussion because I'm having the same problem. I
set the "is Hyperlink" property to yes on a form text box. If I put a web
address in the field it opens a web browser and displays the page, but no
luck with a pdf file. Nothing happens at all if I click on a hyperlink to a
word document or a pdf file. Is there something I need to set to make this
happen?
