We frequently update our PDF's by overwriting the existing file, but when it
publishes it seems to remember the old version of the PDF. Is there an easy
way to fix this problem. We are using FP2002.

You must import the PDF into the current open FP web and then allow it to overwrite.

When you Import the new updated pdf FP should prompt you to overwrite the
old one make sure you let it.

If that doesn't work. Delete the old version first before Importing the new
one.
(or always give the new version a different name, but then you have to
relink it)

If that isn't it,

Clear out temporary internet files on your browser.

PDFs frequently open in an ActiveX control that opens Acrobat within the
browser window. The downloaded PDF file gets stored on your computer. It's
possible that the new version in your web site is not getting downloaded and
your computer is simply openning the one that already exists on your hard
drive in the temp folders.
