This is not the easiest thing to setup, but this way, any printable file can
be converted into a pdf file.
This guy also has put some free PDF creators at the bottom on the page.

OpenOffice is a suite which includes word processing. It handles Word
format, text, rtf, and a sort-of-text format I haven't seen anywhere else.
It can export as pdf, and works reasonably well at that.

Simply create the document, then apply File/Export as PDF. I haven't
tested it exhaustively as I have little need for pdfs, but it exported
my text and graphics perfectly.

But problem is if any of above mentioned softwares can convert 20MB or
larger Word documents into PDF?
I tried with OpenOffice 1.1 and computer freezes.
