When I convert slides from PowerPoint 2003, the text boxes become visible.
How do I prevent this from happening?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Rusty

It happens when I convert PowerPoint to a PDF.
Just for clarification.

Hi Rusty,

which program do you use for conversion? Adobe Acrobat or a freeware tool?
Are there transparent objects on your slide? Not all PDF converters handle
transparency well. Or do you try to create black&white PDFs?

Best regards,
Ute

Visible as in "line around them" or as in "they get filled in"?

it shows the text box when changed from color to b & w
we're using Primo to convert the slides
any help would be great

OK but again, what do you mean by "visible"?

In any case, choose View, Color/Grayscale and pick Pure Black and White.

Does this pretty much mimic what you get on your printouts?

We're getting partial outlines of the textboxes when they shouldn't appear.

Rusty, we're volunteers here, not paid tech support staff. If you're willing to help
us help you, great. If not ... well ... so be it. We can both move on to other
things.
