PDC to non-Windows

Do you want the PDC Emulator role to be on another OS than Windows? I really
don't think that's possible.

Exist some way to promote de PDC to non-Windows ?

The PDC was lost.

I have other Domain Controler on the network but the DC that was
the Master Domain Controller to non-Windows was lost.

Can Somebody help me ?

What about SAMBA then? May only works in NT domains (4.0) and pre, i'm only
working with Microsoft Products anyway so i don't know

What do you mean with non-windows?

If you lost the PDC role, size it back with ntdsutil, but only do this if
you are sure you have lost your PDC, and make sure the old/lost PDC never
come back online again.

non-Windows = Windows98, Windows NT and old versions before Windows 2000.

I will try use the NTDSUtil. Do you know some article or something like
that?

Its solved. I used the NTDSUtil to seize and transfer the PDC to another DC.
