PDA or Smartphone

I'm in the throws of buying a SPV M5000 which hosts WM5 as the OS.
Question is, when I write an app for it in VS2005 (VB) is it for a PPC
or a Smartphone???? Seems more like the former to me....

The SPV M5000 is indeed a PPC.

Devices like the SPV C600 and the SPV C500 are the ones labeled as
Smartphones
