Pctv conflicts

Please can anyone direct me i have a problem with my pctv when opening it it says that #
Hardware initialization failed

Possible Reasons
Power supply not connected
usb cable not connected
sound card is missing
hardware is being use by another application
twain driver is running

the last option i'm sure this is the cause i am waiting on a reply that there is a patch out there to fix this

If anyone knows where i can find this patch or how to fix this problem that would be great help

Ok firstly



Have you checked in your sytem hardware devices to make sure there are no conflicts and everything is functioning correctly?

Control panel/system properties/hardware/device manager

Just make sure you see no red cross's or exclamation marks on any of the hardware controllers you just mentioned
