Hi all,
I have tried to install PCTV 100e on a machine with Windows 2003
Server. I have installed it in Windows XP compatibility mode, and the
complete installation process went fine. The same with the graphic test
which was run the first time I started the MediaCenter. Furthermore, I
have run through the search for channels in the MediaCenter Settings,
and the program found approximately 30 channels. However, when I open
MediaCenter and choose TV, I repeatedly receive a message saying "No
channels available yet...". I have tried to answer "Yes" to the
question, and go through the search for channels again - finding the
same channels - but when I then try to turn the TV on, I again receive
that error message.
When I try to answer "No" instead on the question, I get the message
"Failed to initialize TV controller!".
I have also tried installing the system on a normal XP machine - with
the same problems.
I think that it is extremely annoying that the installation of any
products should be so problematic - it is definitely the last time I
have bought anything from that manufacturer!
If anybody have a clue of what can be done, I will be very happy
hearing from you.
Thanks in advance.
Best regards,
