When this driver is recommended for installation on a Dell
Lattitude C610 laptop, it results in the modem becoming
invisible to the operating system. DO NOT install this
driver update! Instead, go to Dell's download site and
use the driver found there. If you have installed the M/S
recommended driver and have this problem, uninstall the
driver from the add/remove programs applet in Control
Panel and reboot. The operating system will reinstall the
original driver on reboot. You can then download and
install the Dell driver.
