PCMCIA Problem

I am trying to install a PCMCIA modem in a compaq laptop
model Presario 12XL300 with Win 2000 Pro installed on the
laptop.
The laptop orignally came with Win ME and I changed to
Win 2000.

When I plug in the PCMCIA modem it is not recognized but
the following hardware appears PCMCIA MTD-0002 appears
and it says no drivers are installed in device manager.
I found drivers for the PCMCIA MTD-0002 in Win 98 and in
Win ME, but when I try to install the driver it says file
tffsinf.in is needed to install the driver.
Does anybody know where I can find the file tffsinf.in

The drivers for the PCMCIA modem are included in Win200
so if I could find the file tffsinf.in I could install
the drivers for PCMCIA MTD0002 and install the modem.
