After fitting a new CPU I find that in my device manager that there is a PCI device not installed.
But they all are ( checked to see a few times)
It comes under other device's.
If I remove it it still comes back telling me
that its missing. How can I find what PCI device its looking for or am I being thick ?

Run Everest and see what devices it lists.

It will not hurt to re-install the motherboard chipset drivers. The
new CPU might have invoked some additional features in the motherboard.
This would certainly be true if the new CPU is even minimally dissimilar
from the old CPU, as in "new" and "improved".
