pci.sys

I got a message saying pci.sys is missing or corrupted
when I'm trying to start my w2k. I got some solutions of
expanding the pci.sy_ from the \i386 directory but when I
tried that, it is giving access denied error message. Can
someone explain to me on how I can work this thing out.
