Hi to all!
I have, on AGP, an NVIDIA TNT2M64 and on PCI the Cirrus in
the subject.
If I start with AGP as first video card by BIOS, Windows
do not mount properly the Cirrus VGA (error code 10 in the
harware list). So I stay with one display.
Instead if I start with PCI as first video by BIOS,
WIndows 2000 get the Cirrus correctly and in a second
moment get the second VGA on AGP and mount it properly.
As you can see, to use the Cirrus VGA as the first video
card is not a good idea: it is not supported by a lot of
games. To play with my favourite games (e.g. Age of
Mythology) I must switch by BIOS on AGP and work with the
only one.
My question is why using PCI CirrusLogic5446 as second
video device Win2k do not see it? Driver issue? I do not
know where search...
Thanks in advice and excuse me for my bad english, I'm
Italian! So greetings from Italy![Smile :) :)](/styles/default/custom/smilies/smile.gif)
