Is it possible to use a pci video card in paralle with an agp
videocard

ex:
i would use my fx card as my primary videocard and connect my only
pcscreen to it. then plug in my pci video card on my mobo to get a
little boost in video performance.

i just want to use my old pci video card just to get the best of what
i got...

So where do you think you are going to connect the PCI card output to?
If you only have one Monitor where is it going to be connected to?
Boost from pci card?
What boost?

You just want to use your PCI card to get the best of what you have?
How do you figure that?
What do you think you can do with it?

No no ..
I mean by this that i want to use the capability of the pci vga card
in paralle with my primary agp video card .
by this i would get a little boost in video performance.
in 3d video gamer.

That is what i'm asking

The reason that i ask this is because one time i did hear that it
would be possible to add a second videocard to get the double in
performance. it's like using 2 fx5900 ultra at the same time to get
ie:
twice as you can get in 3dmark2003.

for the same tv, you see?

Don't read the National Inquirer for PC tips in the future.

Some of the 3dfx voodoos could do this (Voodoo2), it was called SLI as each
card would render alternate scan lines and then interleave them. This
required the GPU, card and drivers to support such a feature and is not
possible with cards not designed specifically to do so.

What you wish to do is not possible.

Im afraid you are getting confused. I dont know if anyone has ever
produced one, but some of the nvidia chips were designed to be used in a
multi-GPU configuration. Its an old trick that used to be done with
commercial voodoo GPU's, but it requires that the GPU's are all on the one
card.

Ok then.
is there any card that allow that on the market?
if so what's the brand name of that card.
