I have had to re-build my disk for the PCChips M863G motherboard.

I have loaded the software from the motherboard CD(V 8.15C) but I am
still missing the PCI drivers. How do these get loaded? I cannot do the
modem until I get the PCI Bridge is working.

Any know the answer to this? I have looked on the PCChips site with no luck.

Thanks in anticipation.

whats the device manager say about them?
not there or is there an 'other devices' that contains a reference to PCI
bridge?
remove them from 'other devices' and reboot

This is an earlier version of the motherboard. Should be OK for
drivers, just don't try the BIOS flash.

Another cheat you can try is to run Windows Updates to find the
drivers. THe odds are 50/50 that you'll find the right one.

PS: PCtel modems often IDentify themselves as "PCI device" so just try
to install the modem. Chances are good the yellow ? will dissappear.
