Hello,

Inside my current PC, I have PC3200 DDR memory mixed with PC2700 DDR memory.
The motherboard is an ASUS P4PE. Does this mean that all memory is running
at the lower 2700?

Thanks,

The BIOS will use the slower speed of the two, to keep all the
memory within specification.

The other factor, is what ratios the BIOS supports, between the FSB
and the memory. It could be that DDR333 is as fast as it will go
in any case. So even if you placed two double sided sticks of PC3200
in it, chances are it will be running at DDR333 anyway.

I believe there is an option to run that board at FSB800 and
DDR400, but it only supports one stick of RAM at the DDR400
speed. And barely works under those conditions - some people
have to back off on the clock a bit, to get stability.
