PC133 SDRAM DIMMs upgrade

I want to up grade my PC memory it presently has Two 128 Which makes its Ram at 256mb. I want to up grade it to your of 512mb is this possible with my PC.
information as follow.
Speed 1300
AMD Athlon (tm)Processor
PC HP 7953 Windows HOME XP
Bios version Phoenix Technologies
system model P526A-ABA 7953

Go to your friendly neighbourhood computer store and buy a 256mb stick of RAM then open your tower and plug it in. It's as simple as that. Good luck.
 
The manual you got with your system and/or motherboard will tell you how
much and what kind of memory you can install.

A couple minutes searching on HP.com finds the following info for the 7950
series, which should match your 7953 (no memory specifics were found for
that model)

So, to get 512, you will have to remove the two DIMMs currently in place,
and substitute two 256s. There should be no problem using PC133 versus the
original PC100.

You could just replace one of the 128s with a single 512, giving you 640M.
